s part of our ongoing and recurring talks about adding video to the web we will be discussing for March and April the task of editing video so that it looks good on the web. Concentrating on Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and Premiere Elements 4 we will discuss what is involved and how best to prepare video for a good viewing on the web.

Also, it should be noted that your sig leader was quoted in regards to podcasting and RSS in the Seattle PI and the SIG was mentioned as well.

If you have other thoughts or suggestions for content of discussions, let us know. There will be considerable more to come.



All presentation are free. The only requirement for being at a presentation is to be present. However, we do invite you to consider becoming a KEGS member. It is with the good offices of KEGS (Komputer Entusiasts of Greater Seattle) that we are able to have our location to meet and a projector with which to see our presentations.

  • The Seattle HTML SIG was founded by jack Beslanwitch in 1995 to celebrate the love of the design and creation of web content and web sites. As the years have passed the range of subjects that fall under the umbrella of the SIG have grown dramatically and we have gone from being a Northwest PC User Group SIG, a stand alone and now a KEGS SIG. We are a friendly group that range from novices to experts. We have meetings at the North Bellevue Community Senior Center, 4063 148th Ave. NE, Bellevue, WA on the fourth wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM. Check below for a map and directions on how to get to our meeting place. . This usually involves an opening question and answer period followed by a speaker/presenter. Meetings are free and you do not need to be a member of KEGS, but you are encouraged to consider the advantages of becoming a member. It is thanks to their efforts that we have such a nice location to have our meetings. Also, starting with the March meeting, any door prizes will only go to KEGS members.


    We meet the fourth wednesday of the month starting at 7:00 PM. Taking I-405 take the I-520 exit toward Redmond. Take the third exit which will be 148th Avenue North, the second 148th Ave exit. You will curve around and find yourself driving north on 148th Ave NE. Watch for the North Bellevue Community Senior Center sign on your left.
